(1) If a person commits any offense punishable under this Act, or on the complaint of a reasonable person that he has committed such an offence, or on receipt of reliable information or reasonable suspicion of such offence, in sub-section (2) If a warrant is issued by a written officer, he can be arrested by a police officer up to the rank of sub-inspector.

(2) In the case of subsection (1) ………… The chief district officer or the officer designated by the Government of Nepal in this regard may also arrest him or other persons by giving an order. House or vehicle search of house or vehicle can be done by the police officer up to the sub-inspector or ………… chief district officer or the official appointed by the Government of Nepal in this regard or by the government employee up to Khardar authorized in writing by them according to the prevailing Nepal law.

(4) House search In doing so, goods, vehicles, documents and cash related to the crime under this Act can be seized.
